Affected Goods and Requirements
The goods subject to the Regulation include but are not limited to:
- Balloons, airships, gliders, and hang gliders (GTİP: 8801.00.10.00.00)
- Aircraft with empty weights below or above 2,000 kg (GTİP: 8802.11.00.00.00, 8802.12.00.00.00)
- Special aircraft designed for agricultural use and passenger transport (GTİP: 8802.20.00.10.00, 8802.20.00.20.00)
- Drones with various maximum take-off weights (GTİP: 8806.22.90.00.00 to 8806.94.00.00.00)
For these goods to be cleared under the applicable customs regimes, importers must present the Conformity Letter issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, either electronically or physically, during the customs declaration process.
This Regulation is particularly relevant for importers and economic operators dealing with civil aviation products in Türkiye. Businesses involved in the storage, transportation, or customs clearance of the listed goods must ensure compliance to avoid delays or penalties.
