The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has published a draft Regulation on Pilotage and Tugboat Services. This Draft Regulation introduces a competitive bidding system to boost market competition and enforce new service standards, bringing significant operational changes for service providers in Türkiye.

NEW DIRECTIVE FOR SAFER PILOTAGE SERVICES:

The Directorate General for Maritime Affairs has recently announced a Directive Regarding the Safety of Pilotage Services, which will come into force on 1 July 2024.
